Bounce

A bounce occurs when an email cannot be delivered to the intended recipient’s inbox. This can happen for various reasons, and the email is returned to the sender.

Characteristics
Hard Bounce: This indicates a permanent delivery failure, often due to an invalid email address or a non-existent domain.
Soft Bounce: This refers to a temporary issue, such as a full inbox or a server being down. The email may be delivered later.
SMTP Error Codes: These codes provide specific reasons for the bounce, helping to diagnose the issue.

Examples
– A hard bounce might occur if you send an email to “user@nonexistentdomain.com,” as the domain does not exist.
– A soft bounce could happen if you send an email to “user@fullmailbox.com,” where the recipient’s inbox is currently full and cannot accept new messages.
